This was an interesting conversation, but I would feel Much more respected as a reader if you would do some necessary and basic journalism by noting the funding source and purpose of the organizations your guests currently work for. It doesn’t feel good to have to go digging on what the heck the abundance institute is, cause they don’t give any details (besides some ideology) on their site, only to finally find out their a koch-backed libertarian lobbying group against most regulation, specifically AI.

“Discussion for discussion’s sake” isn’t that when your guests’ salaries rely on them advocating for certain ideas. I’m not saying don’t talk to them, I did read a good amount of this, just please if you want me to respect you as a journalist and want me to feel respected by you as an audience, do the bare minimum?

To be clear, the concern here is that you either Do know these things and willingly choose not to mention them, which is frankly disrespectful to your audience, or you don’t know them and aren’t doing a very good job as a journalist. So either way it’d be nice to see a change.
